Antique 18th century fan, the leaf is Velin, it is painted in gouache of a village scene around a fountain. The frame is in ivory, the guard sticks are finely carved in low relief of characters. Reinforcements on the back of the leaf. It measures 11,2 inches long closed and 17,71 inches in diameter. Rare fan from the beginning of the 18th century, circa 1725.
