Student of Ferdinand Duboc and Alexandre Cabanel, Henry Cauchois specializes in still life compositions. His paintings are kept in museums such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Angers, Rouen, Perpignan, Louviers, and the Musée d'Ingres in Montauban. The artist participated for the first time in the Paris Salon in 1874 and sent his works to the Salon of French Artists in 1881, 1890, 1898, 1904 and 1908.
