Sculpture in white Carrara marble , depicting the goddess "Venus Crouching", after Doidalsas De Bithynie .
"Venus" is the goddess of love , seduction, and feminine beauty in Roman mythology .
Its role is to arouse love in everyone : men and Gods alike .
“Venus” is represented nude , modestly seated .
Her sensual body displays voluptuous curves, with carefully shaped breasts.
Her hair is elegantly pulled back , with only three wavy strands falling to the nape of her neck , revealing a finely sculpted face .
Sculpture signed "Doidalsas", hollow , on the side of the naturalist terrace , representing a rock .
Old marble , second half of the 19th century .
Very good state of conservation , restorations on two fingers .
