"19th Century Marble Sculpture Signed A. Bottinelli"
COD: 11021 Italian statue in white marble signed A. Bottinelli (see photo). Artwork attributable to Antonio Bottinelli (1827-1898), sculptor of great fame, lacking authenticity. The sculptor Bottinelli receives numerous international awards and participates in the universal exhibitions in Paris, Rome and Vienna. His stylistic signature is the representation of the female figure in very pleasant romantic poses. Fascinating sculpture depicting a young girl in the guise of the Goddess Flora or as an allegory of spring. Statue full of refined details, such as the splendid crown of flowers and the hair gathered in an elegant bow. Note the sweetness of the girl's face and how her dress falls delicately on her shoulders. Sculpture resting on an original base also in marble, separable into two elements (base and bust, see photo). Work of great quality, in beautiful patina and in excellent conservative conditions.
