He is enrolled at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris in the studio of Jean Dupas. In particular, he was one of the students of the painter Maurice Brianchon (1899-1979). In addition to that of his teacher, the influence of Picasso and Matisse led him to figurative painting freed from the constraints of realism.
