Superb and extremely rare dagger from the mid-16th century. Symmetrical four-sided blade, rectangular ricasso with a depression, two fine gutters run along the central edge of the blade. Iron-mounted dagger, round squared pommel, long symmetrical guard cruise strongly arched towards the front with very marked pine cone quillons and largely overflowing bearing a ring at the center of the cruise. Flat-soled blade with two wooden plates attached later. 36cm long
