Rectangular snuffbox with cut sides. The colored gold snuff box has an exceptional guilloché decoration in diamond-shaped crosses reminiscent of basketry work. This elegant work is framed by a stylized floral frieze in several tones of gold standing out against an amati background. This same work is found on the frame and the bottom of the snuffbox. The cut sides are decorated with stylized floral motifs. Work from the end of the 18th century, beginning of the 19th century.
