Old Virgin Medal Fine Pearls And Enamel

Old shuttle-shaped medal engraved with a haloed virgin and roses on a partially large blue enameled decoration. It is surrounded and topped with fine pearls. The back is engraved with initials and the date June 18, 1933.
Pendant sold alone without its presentation chain.

Period: 20th century
Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths 18 carat eagle's head hallmark.
Signed Dropsy on the front.
Proportions: Height approximately 3.8 cm, width: approximately 17 mm, thickness: approximately 1.4 mm.
Net weight: approximately 2.7g.
Authentic old jewel - French work from the 1930s. Some enamel missing.
Our opinion: This old art deco medal is lovely. The engravings are delicately made. The enamel is missing in places but the partitions being intact, this in no way detracts from the beauty of the whole.
