Very beautiful statue in painted and gilded wood representing a divinity of Benzai Ten Buddhism - Extremely refined sculpture on sental wood with very realistic eyes carved in sulphide. Goddess of talent and eloquence, she holds the jewel and sword attributes in her hands.
Work certainly from the Edo era, around the beginning of the 19th century.
