Very beautiful set of four jewelry from the Turkme tribes. Nomads living between Turkmenistan, Iran and Afghanistan. These four jewels come from the Tekke and Yomoud tribes. All date from the first half of the 20th century and have been used and worn. No tourist trade, the only pieces that can be found are sold second hand at the Bukhara market. The first: Turkmen tiara from the Yamud tribe. Silver, partially hot-gilded and carnelian. First half of the 20th century. 371Grs Height: 3.5cm Total height: 17cm The second: Pair of engselik temporal buckles. Turkmen Tekke. In partially hot-gilded silver, composed of plates set with cabochons in imitation of carnelian, with diamond pendants. Length 23cm Weight 220Grs The third: Large pectoral in solid silver (300 grs). Turkmen art, Yamoud tribe. Silk Road nomads, residing in the triangle of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Iran. End of the 19th century. Silver with hot-applied vermeil decoration and carnelian cabochons. dimensions 14X21cm weight 300Grs The fourth piece, the Sheikel, is the oldest and the rarest and is an amulet holder.
