Remarkable Bust Of Young Boy, Terracotta In Beautiful Original Condition, Dated. 18eme
Bust of a pretty young man of quality, terracotta from the Louis XVI period, young character slightly smiling, face turned a little to the left; bust resting on a marble base; terracotta of beautiful finesse, rare in its original patina, never touched, as the manual sculpting work and its contrasting tones, due to its age, clearly demonstrate. On the back of the bust are three inscriptions in 18th century writing: two initials, a name of either the artist or the model (difficult to decipher) and a date 1777.
