The base with six beaded lobes with several ogees forms a domed terrace with embossed and chiseled decoration of large water leaves and aquatic plants on a guilloche background. An enamelled cross pattée adorns the foot of the chalice. The barrel is tubular, decorated with a collar and a toric knot highlighted in its center by a belt of quatrefoils in relief, chiseled with water leaves on each side. The slightly conical shaped cup with a straight edge is set in a flowery and openwork under-cut which keeps the same polylobed and floral ornamentation as the terrace of the chalice foot.
