Painter, engraver and sculptor. Training at the Ghent Academy under the direction of Jean Delvin. Godecharle Prize in 1914.
Travel to the Netherlands, France, Italy, Sicily, Spain, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and England.
Opted for a luminist style characterized by a generous and colorful palette, sometimes reminiscent of Fauvism.
