This French clock is signed ‘Le Baique A Paris’, and dated ca 1720.
Brass clock with a nicely engraved dial, 3 frets, of which the first is also engraved.
The one-day movement has a verge escapement, a striking train and an alarm.
The time is indicated with just one iron hand.
The weights in lead hanging on a cord ensure the action of the movement.
