Superb and elegant early 19th century eharp by DOMÉNY. This harp in carved and gilded wood with very rich decoration in the style of flamboyant Gothic. The column decorated in the upper part with characters and goat heads in bas-relief. The middle part is composed of golden flutes on a green background, ending in the lower part with a decoration of golden palmettes. The back of the openwork terrace has a discreet decoration in the shape of drops of water, all on a dark green background. The console is decorated and carved with acanthus leaves and palm leaves around the perimeter, the whole resting on 4 claw feet. 44 strings, 7 pedals Signed Domeny, Harp and Piano Maker, rue du Faubourg St Denis 107 1st silver medal at the French Industry Exhibitions 1827 and 1834, losses and restorations.
