Superb and rare large group of polychrome terracotta cats Austria late 19th century early 20th century. The set is made up of 2 seated adult cats holding a small kitten in their arms. work of great realism, the heads of the cats are impressive and especially their gaze made of sulfide (glass) which gives them even more realism. all of the terracotta is painted in a very realistic way, there are no accidents but normal wear of the patina. Austrian work that can be attributed to Bernhardt BLOCH (1836-1909) or GOLDSCHEIDER 51845-1897), high quality and very decorative, in very good state of conservation.
