Beautiful, luminous work with strong contrast by the Corsican painter, Tony Cardella, which depicts a lively view of the port of Erbalunga in Corsica on a summer day. In the foreground, we can see two fishermen preparing the fishing net.
Attached to his roots, Tony Cardella will not stop representing landscapes of the Isle of Beauty and its inhabitants through his painting. Its bright and colorful palette wonderfully transcribes the colors of the shores of the Mediterranean.
In 1941, the artist completed admirable paintings for the interior of the Franciscan Church of L'ile Rousse, restoring to this place of worship its primary function of meditation and prayer.
He participates in numerous exhibitions both in mainland France and in Corsica, where his talent is rewarded and praised by critics.
