Beautiful work finely produced by the Bordeaux artist Rose Marquette which represents a lively corner of the beach in Arès in the Arcachon Basin.

A student of Amédée Baudit (1825-1890), one of the important figures among the Gironde landscapers of the end of the 19th century, Rose Marquette is a Bordeaux artist who participates in Toulouse at the Salons de L'Union Artistique in 1891 and 1892 then at the International Industrial Exhibition in 1908.
There she exhibited her still lifes with flowers as well as views of the Arcachon Basin in Arès, the undergrowth in Saint- Palace.
Nb: Old small restorations, without impact, are visible on the back of the canvas.
Dimensions: 27 x 46 cm without frame and 37.5 x 55.5 cm with its wooden frame.
