Museum quality XVIII Century Italian Jesuit double side reliquary with exquisite miniature paintings of Saints and Angels in heaven, protected by its original rock crystal covers and encased in a beautiful brass theca. It contains 16 of the most important Holy Relics in Christendom:

Description:
One of a kind piece of Sacred art with exquisite miniature paintings that are only comparable to the relevance of the Holy Relics it contains. Produced for a high ranking cleric from the Society of Jesus (S.J.)
On one side, we can see Saint Ignatius of Loyola and Saint Francis Xavier being carefully represented in adoration of the Holy Relic of the True Cross which is present. At the center, we can see the Holy Relic of Saint Augustine as an illuminating sun with the rest of the relics surrounding it, each with a different angel in a variety of colors and postures.
On the other side, we can see more representation of angels safekeeping the precious relics in heaven with a bright sun at the center, with Saint Apollonia and Saint Catherine of Alexandria.
The Holy Relics are kept inside a Baroque brass theca with ten corners and an impressively dented rim. All protected by its original rock crystal dome covers.

Condition
Outstanding condition for its age, no significant damage with the Holy Relics in their original place, all Saints legible and all paintings in mint condition.
