Louis XIV Golden Wood Mirror - Regency - 18th Century
Very beautiful quilted mercury mirror from the 18th century, with gilded wood frame with mercury beads also from the beginning of the 18th century. Typical of the Louis XIV - Regency style, with its pediment and corners with floral decoration. Beautiful gilding with gold leaf redone in the 19th century, sober, shiny and delicate patina. The mirror is not original since there must have been a crucifix originally in this frame... Only one accident on one of the glazing beads, a mirror is cracked.
