Former Maison Benque (important dynasty of photographers), 33 rue Boissy d'Anglas in Paris Period silver print, laminated on cardboard, dedicated to a colonel, dated July 14, 1901 in the bottom margin. Beautiful gilded wood frame from the Bennerotte house in Paris Emile Loubet is a French statesman. A lawyer, he was first a deputy for Drome before becoming minister and president of the Council, then president of the Senate. He succeeded Felix Faure in 1899 and became President of the Republic until 1906. His mandate was marked in particular by the end of the Dreyfus affair, and the Law of Separation of Churches and State. - Proof: H. 15 cm - L. 10.5 cm - Frame: H. 24 cm - L. 18.5 cm
