Venice mirror from the 19th century. Elegant Venetian mirror from the 19th century, rectangular in shape, surrounded by a large geometric wheel-engraved rod, olives and guillochies. Each of these wands was made from a single piece of mirror, which required great dexterity from the craftsman. In the center, a central, beveled mirror is also surrounded by large strips with more or less similar decor. In the corners, between the central mirror and the exterior frame, is represented by an engraving made with a wheel, a fine decoration of a bird in full flight, surrounded by branches and flowers. At the top, an openwork pediment, geometric in shape, is composed of scrolls, acanthus leaves and a central medallion where a flying butterfly is represented ready to land on a branch of flowers. In the part, on each side, under the mirror, two mirrored consoles of geometric shape give the impression of supporting the entire mirror.
