Exceptional Large Tin Dish (tin) - Turin, 18th Century

Very large round DISH called “venison” in pewter with molded edge. It is stamped with friezes of repetitive motifs arranged concentrically: lions passant, Saint Sebastian, squares, flowers, fans and various geometric motifs.
Hallmark (worn, barely readable) of Fratelli FILIBERTO received master in 1770 affixed three times: two angels wearing a crown / FRATELLI FILIBERTO.
Diameter: 56.7 cm.
TURIN (Italy), End of the 18th century.

Almost exceptional size in very good condition
As their name indicates, these very large dishes were intended for poultry and small game presented "au naturel". After display to the guests, the dish returned to the pantry for the cutting of its contents.
