Precious and elegant portico clock from the Louis XVI period signed on the frame of the watchmaker "Ch.s Gariot, rue n.ve notre dame n° 2" for Gariot Charles referenced with the same address on the Tardy on the preside date of 1782, Tardy the dictionary of French watchmakers.

A very refined architecture composed of gilded bronze with gold mercury, marble and blackened wooden columns. Ornate with elegance such as falling chains, vases and flowers.

Large domed dial in white enamel accompanied by finely worked hands, the space between the columns is occupied by a sun balance.

Original mechanism without modification, wire suspension, hour and half-hour strike on old bell.
