Lovely pair of Louis XVI style gilded bronze sconces with rich, finely chiseled decoration embellished with four delicate chains. Magnificent decoration of foliage fluting. Very good quality, they have double mercury gilding, shiny and matte and even the screws are gold! Each bears on the edge of the base the same type of numbering used by Maison Boin-Taburet, numbering which is follows, 50245 16 for one and 50246 16 for the other, proof that we are in the presence of a "real" pair. Furthermore, the first bears the number 8805 below next to the signature. Dimensions: Height: 18 cm Width: 16 cm base width: 9.5 cm x 9.5 cm Weight: 2 kg overall Very good condition.
