Elegant portico clock from the Empire period circa 1810. Architecture two columns in turquin gray marble of very good quality and ornamentation in gilded bronze with mercury and gold decorated with flowered basins and a vase at the top. The space between the columns is decorated with a chiseled garland of oak leaves supporting Zeus as an eagle and a sun pendulum. Large domed white enamel dial accompanied by fine hands.
Original mechanism without modification, wire suspension, hour and half-hour strike on old bell.
