Traditional scene confirming the mastery of the artist Edmond Marie Petijean (1844-1925), who exhibited at the Salon from 1874, received a silver medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1889, received the Legion of Honor in 1893 and Participation in 1900 in the Prix de la Salle d'Or at the legendary restaurant Train Bleu Gare de Lyon and medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1900. These works are represented in the names of French museums (Dijon, Bordeaux, Lille, Nancy, Marseille, etc.) and in Paris, at the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay and the Petit Palais.The work is in good condition on the original canvas, equipped with a double stretcher, an old frame from an American crate which is double.
