Six oil paintings on canvas applied on poplar panels taken from scenes of the Mysteries of the Rosary executed by an artistic workshop active in the Papal State. With high probability this workshop was formed under the influence of the Marche master Carlo Maratta (1625 Camerano - 1713 Rome) during the second half of the 17th century.The scenes of the mysteries of the Rosary are devotional works usually placed in chapels. The scenes of the mysteries of the Rosary are originally fifteen: 5 joyful mysteries, 5 luminous mysteries and 5 painful mysteries.

The cost is 700 euros each except the crucifixion which costs 1000 euros.
In this small collection there are 6 + 1, the seventh is a nativity scene which is framed within an original 17th century frame lacquered in imitation marble and placed under glass. This is published in another article but is part of the group we are proposing to you.
The dimensions of the ovals are 33 x 26cm. The size of the nativity scene with frame is 56 x 46cm.
The paintings are in excellent condition.
