A Great Confidence, Bronze Subject
Bronze subject representing 2 young boys telling each other a confidence signed on the side WUNSCH. Marie (Mizzi) Wunsch was born in 1862 and died in 1898, is an Austrian artist. As a little girl, she took part in drawing classes where her keen sense of observation was already evident. However, her talent was not encouraged until 1880 when she was admitted to the Austrian Museum's preparatory school to study. She moves to Venice. Subsequently, she created her own workshop, first in Venice then in Merano. She has produced a series of ever new compositions drawn from childhood life. His themes are reproduced in photography, wood engraving or even in bronze and porcelain form.
