"Chamonix, Vintage Photo By Pierre Tairraz"
Magnificent photo, vintage silver print (c.1960), mounted on panel. It represents the mountains in Chamonix (Mont-Blanc), it is signed and has the photographer's stamp on the back: "Photography P.Tairraz - Chamonix, reproduction prohibited SPA Paris". Pierre Tairraz, originally from Chamonix, is a mountain photographer, like several members of his family. He will work with Roger Frison-Roche and Gaston Rébuffat.
