"Antique Tortoiseshell Piquè Gold Earrings"
Piquè is the old (and lost !) art of inlay small gold points on the tortoiseshell and ivory. This art started in Naples in the 18th century. Here we have a very nice pair of antique long earrings very light in gold and tortoiseshell full of gold points inlaid in the tortoiseshell that make a beautiful design. It is a magnificent pair of earrings very wearable. End of the 19th century from Naples. 14K gold (touchstone tested). They are in perfect condition.- Size : cm. 7,7
