"Important Heriz Silk Rug, Orientalist, From The 19th Century"
Silk Heriz rugs, dating from the early 19th century and made around 1850, feature a central motif featuring a mosque lamp decorated with a feline mask and a female mask. This lamp is surrounded by flower vases and is placed on a red background. The rug is framed by a black border, with three additional borders adorned with foliage and floral designs.
