"Mirror In Gilt Bronze And Enameled Cloisonné Enamels, Maison Giroux, Napoleon III"
Superb mirror to place or hang, probably from Maison Giroux. Gilt bronze and cloisonné enamels. Very fine bronze work with a putti seated in the pediment and scrolls of acanthus leaves around the edge. Towards the interior, a frieze in cloisonné enamels, predominantly blue. A stamp on the back that is difficult to decipher but is in the style of Maison Giroux. The beveled mirror has two small chips at the edge. Period around 1880 Delivery 14 euros in France, 25 euros in the EU and 60 euros rest of the world
