Naturally creative, Clément Massier began as a worker in 1856 with his father Jacques (1801-1871). The 3 companies created by his brothers Clément and Delphin and his cousin Jérôme will create one of the major productions of Vallauris.
Clément Massier obtained a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1889 in Paris for his iridescent ceramics with metallic reflections, also called "chandelier".
