Very beautiful old natural history drawing describing a black-backed goose: “Aves, Anseris, Lamellirostres” (top), and “Anas melanotas, Plectropterus melanotus stev., rostro basi gibbo, compresso, corpore albo, capute colloquium nigro maculates , dorso, alis caudaqui nigris” (bottom), with the title and signature: “Blackbacked Goose, W. Goodall”.
