"Emile Gallé Modernist “volubilis” Harness"
Rare harness with four trays in solid molded walnut. Superb inlaid decoration of stylized convolvulus flowers, on a background of rosewood for the upper top, elm burl for the second, maple for the third, and a plume of all species for the lower one. (Maple, rosewood, mahogany, walnut, Macassar ebony, elm and ash). Very good quality of cabinetmaking! Emile Gallé in Nancy Period 1910-1920
