Lovely paperoleles devotional object which takes the form of a flowered basket in rolled golden paper receiving a relic of Saint Colette. The relics of Saint Colette are arranged in place of the heart of a flower in the center of the bouquet. The basket is set on a dark green silk velvet background. On each side of the frame, we note the presence of a red wax seal. This delicate work is protected by the original, slightly bubbled glass. The frame is original, never dismantled. Date from the beginning of the 19th century - Empire period. Rare representation of paperrolls in the shape of a basket of flowers. Dimensions: 18 cm x 18 cm Thickness: 4.5 cm (frame and background) The whole, more than 200 years old, is in very good condition, entirely original, never opened; only a small scroll has become detached over time.
