The lid is decorated in full with a beautiful miniature on ivory about a charming young woman in a radiant entourage with motifs of interlacing, foliage and cacochons as a reminder of the entire decorative repertoire of the object.
The lock entrance decorated with foliage, windings, the surround of the key hole forming an oval medallion.
The object in good condition rests on four small ivory spinning top feet.
