Jewelry box in sterling silver with a circular shape, the tortoiseshell lid inlaid with a garlands of flowers, ribbons and a central medailion in silver. The cover reveals an original velvet interior. It rests on three feet.

Queen Victoria was the first British monarch to call on Mappin & Webb for Victoria's Golden Jubilee necklace in 1888. The company is still a supplier to the King.
Mappin & Webb is the designer of the Ryder Cup trophy and has been manufacturing trophies for the Royal Ascot horse races for 75 years.
