Pair Of 1940 French Art Deco Armchairs Attributed To Charles Dudouyt / Victor Courtray

Artist: Charles Dudouyt Victor Courtray
This pair of armchairs is a very nice example of the French art deco/brutalist style of the 1940s.
Attributed to Charles Dudouyt or Victor Courtray, the seats and backs are mulched. The frame of the oak armchairs has very beautiful curved lines with scrolled armrests, turned wood sections and the pattern of spheres characteristic of Dudouyt's furniture in particular.

Of very good quality, this pair of armchairs is in excellent condition.
