Pair of Charles RANC gilded bronze lamps from the 1920-1925 period Elegant base from the 1920s Tulips in glass paste in shades of blue signed MULLER Frères LUNÉVILLE The 2 lamps are signed on the base C Ranc Electricity redone to standards In very good condition The Parisian house Charles Ranc was founded in 1909 by Ardèche resident Charles Eugène Frédéric RANC (Rocles 1871 – Paris 1927) at 64 rue de la Folie Méricourt. The Ranc house is distinguished by the quality of its bronzes and the fine chiseling work. A beautiful production of lighting devices which will continue with these threads, after the death of its founder. The Charles Ranc house then became Ranc Frères. The address of the house was transferred in 1930 to 97 rue Oberkampf The Muller brothers, founders of the Muller Frères glassworks in Lunéville, are French art glassmakers of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods.
