Louis XVI Period Relacquered Wood Commode, 18th Century
In wood relacquered in blue and white, this charming chest of drawers is from the Louis XVI period. The top is painted in original faux marble. It opens with three drawers on the front. The rounded uprights are fluted, the front legs tapered. It is in good used condition, solid and stable, a lock is missing. Everything is original, weathered by time.
