Large Louis XVI Style Mirror - 19th Century
Large Louis XVI style mirror, Napoleon III period. Rare for its unusual dimensions, because it is very wide. Lower part decorated with a reserve of small foliage, at the ends, oak leaves, on which rest half fluted columns topped with Corinthian capitals. Upper part decorated with balusters, with urns on each side. The central decoration is decorated with two chimeras holding a mask. Exceptional gilding with gold leaf.
