Beautiful openwork bronze plaquette with remains of gilding, representing the Adoration of the Shepherds.
Italy late 16th or early 17th century.
Dimensions: 13.4 x 10.5 cm
Quite rare plaquette, of which no model seems to be preserved among the reference collections. However, a similar plaquette was in the Bernard Kelly collection sold in London in 2021.
