Pretty and expressive Virgin and Child Jesus in wood carved in high relief and formerly polychromed. The Virgin and Jesus have their silver crown and scepter. The Virgin dressed in her dress and her mantle carries the child Christ on her left arm; she rests as described in the Apocalypse, on her crescent moon and on the terrestrial globe and crushes the beast with her left foot. Beautiful condition, one of Jesus' feet has been restored and his fingers are broken. First half of the eighteenth century.
