VERY RARE PAIR OF BRONZE BOOKENDS BY LOUIS DE LA FONTINELLE CIRCA 1930. THEY REPRESENT TWO CACATOES WITH A VERY STYLISH DESIGN. SILVER BRONZE. SIGNED L FONTINELLE ON EACH PIECE. HIGH: 20.5 CM LENGTH: 13.5 CM DEPTH: 7.5 CM FONTINELLE'S BRONZE SCULPTURES ARE VERY RARE, MOST OF HIS WORK BEING MADE IN CERAMIC. BEAUTIFUL AND SPECTACULAR BOOKENDS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
