Artist: Yves Lohé
Yves Lohé is a French artist born in 1947 in the north of France. After devoting himself for a time to teaching. In 1972 he met Abel Bataillard, the famous master ironworker from Pigalle who influenced him in his artistic quest. He then resigned from his teaching position to devote himself to iron sculpture. He then became known during exhibitions in Paris and at the Salon des Indépendants. In 1979, he built his 2nd Fire Art workshop where he devoted himself to bronze work. In 1991, influenced by master glassmaker Warner Manesse, he included colored glass in his bronze sculptures.
