Nice French Venus Cloth Doll In Normandy Costume 1930's
This interesting doll was made by "Vénus" a competitor of the famous doll maker Raynal in the 1930's.
She has a felt head in pristine condition, with side-glancing painted brown eyes, her original dark blond mohair wig. Her cloth body stuffed with straw is in very good condition and her original celluloid hands are in good shape too. She is wearing her factory original folk costume from Normandy. It shows some tiny rusty stains, and two tiny holes at the back of the skirt. She has her original typical white headdress. She has her original socks and black leather shoes.
