It rests on four tapered and fluted legs richly worked with capitals decoration. the legs are connected to the belt with the square feet carved with beautiful macaroons.
the console belt is openwork and sculpted with stylized acanthus leaves mixed with Greek interlacing. a central decoration of acanthus leaves adorns the transom on the facade.
pretty original gilding with wear due to time. doweled and sculpted console.
It is topped with a faux marble top, a red, burgundy breccia highlighted with a white edging dating from the 20th century and very well executed.
