Large Chest With The Coat Of Arms Of Royalty With 3 Fleurs De Lys XVII
Very beautiful walnut chest from the first half of the 17th century.
Its decor is very rich in sculptures on the facade where an ornamental repertoire of: plant scrolls, animals, chimeras and fantastic humanoids is deployed symmetrically, presenting the coat of arms of the Kingdom of France with its 3 fleur-de-lys.
On the sides are the faces of men-at-arms as well as iron handles.
Restoration of the rod which goes around the chest.
Key and lock with period system that work.
